Milton Canada Day Celebrations


This Canada Day Milton will be hosting Canada Day festivities starting with a Veterans Parade and ending with a Fireworks Finale! This is the largest attended one-day event in Milton!

This Canada Day event will provide an array of activities for all ages including: fantastic live music, wide variety of entertainment, diverse selection of food, arts and crafts, and wrapped up with a giant fireworks finale. Admission to the event is free, but it is encouraged that you do bring a donation (donations will be accepted at the gates. Milton Fairgrounds is located at 136 Robert Street and there will be free transportation courtesy of Milton Transit. 

For those looking to start the festivities early, the Veterans will be hosting a Canada Day Breakfast. This event is hosted by the Milton Knights of Columbus in Victoria Park. $4.00 will get you two pancakes and two breakfast sausages or back bacon on a bun.  Meals include a beverage of choice either coffee, orange juice or iced tea. Proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Milton Canada Day Committee. From 9:30 am until 11:00 am, enjoy a musical interlude. 

The Canada Day event will kick off at 11:30 am in the Milton Fairgrounds (rain or shine) featuring the Veterans’ Parade. There will be a live animal zone featuring Ontario Falconry Show (Scheduled shows: 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm), as well as Top Shot Interactive Hockey happening from 12pm until 7pm. 

The Tim Hortons Kidz Zone will feature: A Giant Sand Hill, Rock Wall, Bouncies, Face Painting, Bubbles, Play Doh, and Games. While the Village Development’s Family Zone has the lumberjack shows throughout the afternoon.
